Paper & Clay began with a desire to bring beautiful design to everyday objects. One of my original passions was making books (the Paper of Paper & Clay), but for now I concentrate on functional ceramics that I still design and make myself. I draw inspiration from my love of Scandinavian modernism — simple, warm, purposeful objects grounded in natural forms and colors. Each piece is made by hand with careful attention to detail, and each glaze has been carefully developed from scratch to create subtle and unique colors that mix and match harmoniously. I source many materials locally and all within the U.S. I’m committed to growing Paper & Clay slowly and sustainably in order to build a lasting brand that is committed to quality handmade ceramic wares.

Due to COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety and health of our customers and those around us, and you may experience some shipping delays.

All orders are typically processed between 2 to 5 business days*, and shipped via your choice of shipping method and delivery speed. If you are eligible for our Free Domestic Shipping option (view details here), your order will be shipped via standard USPS or UPS shipping, and may take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days, depending on your location in the country. Once your order is prepared for shipment, you will receive an email confirmation with the tracking information and the expected delivery date.

By default, ALL orders are sent without the requirement of a signature for delivery. Should you like to require a signature, please make note of it in the Notes section of your Cart prior to check-out or send an email to hello@shopwhyl.com and reference your Order Number.
