Part of the cut piece series, a collaboration from designers Yukitoshi Toda (of Kurasuhito Kurasutokoro) and Yusuke Komatsu (of Graf), this collection is inspired by ordinary household foods and features products brass cast from actual slices of fruit and vegetables.

The creative team behind Graf is called Decorative Mode Number 3 and was set up by six people, comprising an architect, a product designer, a carpenter, a furniture craftsman, an artist and a chef. They have an overall view of design, applying their creative touch to all aspects of the living space, from products to furniture. Their philosophy is to make products and furniture that are alluring, enduring and functional, and evocative to the senses.
