Single origin, bean-to-bar chocolate, made from scratch in small batches in the heart of San Francisco. From carefully chosen cacao beans, 9th & Larkin attentively roasts, grinds, refines, conches, tempers, moulds and wraps each bar in-house and by hand, providing a a chocolate that is peerless in flavor. And, just like single malt whiskey or single origin coffee, you will truly taste the distinct flavors unique to each region of the cacao beans.

In order to create a packaging design that would reflect the rawness of their product, it felt natural to turn to the point of origin of the chocolate: the cacao pod. The dried skin of the cacao pod provided a striking, one-of-a-kind pattern that was then transferred on to silk for screen printing. The resulting effect; a unique and tactile texture that resonates the chocolate’s call to nature.
